Artistic Inspiration We will explore wonderful ways to express yourself with art. Understand the history of art and the various ways of expression. Superhero Training Camp We will create our own superhero, design their clothes and create their superpower. Cultural Exchange Students will explore different cultures and languages. They will learn how kids from other countries grow up, dress, eat, and relate to others in places different from their own. At the end of the week, they will create a cultural food tasting.
Under the Sea Children will explore what is under the sea. Learn about the plants and animals that live in the water. They can create their own animals and create crafts while learning about a different world.
My Country America and what it means to me. How was America founded, the people who live in America, beliefs, symbols, foods and culture. We will explore why we celebrate the 4th of July and what freedom means.
Community Helpers Understanding community helpers and what they do for our community. Visits from local fire and police along with other helpers in our community.
Nature Explorers What are the plants and animals living in your own back yard. Our explorers will discover nature all around them, how to care for it and have fun creating crafts with what they find.
Let the Games Begin Students will be having fun with various indoor and outdoor games. They will also have an opportunity to create their own games.
All About Me Getting to know me. My likes, goals and the way I present myself to others. This week will combine our knowledge of pictures, video, crafts and music to create a display of me. |
