Infant 6 weeks – 12 months
Our infant program begins from 6 weeks to 12 onths. This is a time for love, warmth, and security. They learn to focus on faces, respond to sounds, and begin to develop social and emotional skills through interactions with caregivers. They begin to engage in sensory play for cognitive and physical development to enhance their motor skills and sensory awareness. As they grow their motor skills develop more, early communication through sign language, make sounds, and imitate noises, laying the groundwork for verbal communication, interactive play involving problem-solving and exploration helps develop thinking skills.
Toddler/Transition
Our toddler/transition program begins from 12 months to 3 years. This is the time we aid children in developing focus and sustained attention. Teaching them completion of work—beginning a task and completing it—and making them self-reliant is especially important. Emphasis is given to hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and control of the body. Potty training is an important part of the program.
Primary
Our Early Childhood stage (ages 3–5). Every child contains unique and boundless potential; the role of the teacher is to guide children and help them develop on their own terms. After a child is assessed, the teacher starts working across Language, Math, Cultural, Science, Sensorial, and Practical Life areas in the classroom.
VPK – Pre-Kindergarten
Starting around age 4, the VPK curriculum is introduced. Teachers focus on moving from the concrete to the abstract, with emphasis on writing and math concepts. Work periods get longer and children are prepared for area public, private, and charter schools.
